Parkhotel Den Haag is situated next to the Palace gardens, in the centre of The Hague. A surprising hotel with a special history.
The building is Art Deco style and the beautiful staircase, designed by a pupil of Berlage, has recently been restored to its former glory.
It started off in 1912 as the Pomona vegetarian restaurant. In the sixties and seventies the Queens Garden restaurant was internationally renowned, especially thanks to its enormous wine cellar. You can still dine in the %uFFFDQueens Garden', currently known as the %uFFFDGarden Room'. This beautiful hall is now used for breakfast, receptions, private dinners and weddings.
